Clark Lea didn’t miraculously become a great coach in year 4/5. Jimbo/Crab, Sumlin/Johnny, O/Burrrow … the list is long. If 18 were a first round talent then we would not be in the situation. I don’t care who’s calling the plays and what stupid formations we line up in. I’m happy to lay blame on the senior who’s cashing a big paycheck himself… maybe the biggest one on campus behind his head coach.

You are comparing Nuss to three Heisman winners, two of them being the #1 overall pick… yeah we know Nuss isn’t that. This post is dumb as frick.

Preseason top NFL pick and Heisman list sir. All SEC and Top draftable QB in nation. Family Credentials and stars. Returning senior. Returning WRs and added portal studs. Stud TE … what happened besides getting a bag? He is not him. Good QBs lift the boat. 18 has helped sink it this year

U must’ve missed our last couple possessions with a chance to tie in the biggest of moments. If you count Nashville as a big moment.

Let me help you out. If Nuss were Mettenberger we might have only one loss. Assuming his knee survived the existence of DJ Chester.

why we lost

Nah. We had 1st and goal at the 1 and didn't get the td. Defense got the ball back for the offense twice with a chance to tie or take the lead in the 4th quarter and they went backwards. Defense wasn't great but don't let your emotions hide logic

I think LSU would be 7-0 right now with 7 easy wins with even a competent QB

Agreed, a good qb can hide shitty coaching.

So we’re just going to ignore the fact that Brian Kelly had Jayden Daniels two years ago and was never in contention.

I disagree. No QB is going to look good with 300 pound linemen getting pushed back into the pocket, or DE’s coming unimpeded around the ends. The offensive line is the problem, not the OC, not the QB, the offensive line.

WHITE Whit Weeks didn't play and wearing the All-WHITE uniforms on the road in an SEC game is an abomination and curse. Wear your FRICKING colors!

The offensive line is a really big problem. Why is Chester playing left tackle tho?

And nuss actually played pretty well yesterday. Sloan is for sure part of the problem. You can see his inexperience every step of the way. He doesn't really have a plan of attacking.

Sometimes you will see him put a nice drive together and you think ok but it's never consistent. You can't just sit there and blame the o line. A good oc can somewhat scheme around that.

Gave up 31 points easily could’ve been 38, almost 250 yards rushing, almost 40 minutes of possession time. Offense had the ball 3 times in the first half. There’s no emotion, you hate the offense, that’s fine but defense played worse than the offense Saturday.

Have you seen our o line? Do you actually watch the game and understand what you are watching? This is the worst line in the SEC, I am talking South Carolina bad. It has killed our offense and that has impacted the defense. They are poor run blockers, our RBs have to chip on every play in pass pro, Nuss gets the ball and has perhaps 2 seconds to read and throw. He has linemen getting bulldozed and falling on him, we have a TE from OU who can't block, our right tackle is like the worst right tackle in FBS. We are functioning with 2 competent linemen, both who are transfers. Quit blaming Nuss. If you think Burrow would magically be the Burrow we know behind this line you are crazy. Remember our 2019 o line? They won the Joe Moore award for the best line in the country. The root of this teams problems are the o line. Period. Ole Miss and Vandy are not better than us because they have world beaters at QB. Both of those teams have excellent lines that allow those 2 QBs to do their thing. We don't. Our coaches knew Nuss is not a mobile qb and despite this they only got 2 linemen in the portal.
