Who would have been better? Getting rid of the current coach sounds appealing but the next choice could be worse.

LSU fans short list….
Look around this board. Every Saturday there are multiple posters on here that think they can coach better than any actual LSU coach.
Let’s get a coaching staff made up of LSU Rant posters who claim they can do better. Certainly would cost a lot less and they could use that to buy better players.
Let’s see how that works out.
Fact is, no coach will ever satisfy the LSU fan base.
Don’t know why any coach would want to come into this negative environment.
Look around this board. Every Saturday there are multiple posters on here that think they can coach better than any actual LSU coach.

Asking this board who LSU should hire is dumb because the majority of fans don’t really know anything about most coaches outside of the big name ones. And even then, they don’t know much about those coaches.

The funny thing is when we first hired Saban almost no one knew who the hell he was. LSU fans were all pissed off because it wasn't one of the many names that people on talk radio were swearing should be the next head coach.
And he turned out to be the best coach we ever had.
