I know everyone is hating on Perk, but he is just about a year removed from a torn ACL

I think people forget that sometimes and what he’s done to date is quite impressive given that and it usually takes two years to be fully recovered following ACL surgery.

Doesn’t mean it excuses bone headed plays, but also should make some understand that his cuts are not going to be as clean and hard as he would be doing on a healthy knee pre-injury just yet.

Brother, do me a favor. Get off of TD and go watch a replay of the game.

Perkins quit yesterday. Straight up quit on this team. He got bullied and instead of getting back up, he just quit. There is NO excuse for his play. 0

He is about three years from making an impact.

His mental mistakes > physical mistakes.

Exactly. Just like Nuss, the injury had nothing to do with the shitty play on the field. Perkins looked like he did 2 years ago with House where he just went through the motions with no effort.

It has nothing to do with that, it has to do with discipline and knowing what you’re seeing in front of you.

as has been said and beaten, but needs to be said and beaten more, he has no clue where on the field he is supposed to be. He is a negative to the D at this point. Has no clue how to maintain lanes or contain the edge.

Football IQ is fairly low.

Someone will risk a pick for him based on the combine results, but him ever playing a meaningful snap in the NFL as a starter is not a safe bet.

There is no excuse for standing there on 4th and goal and watching the running back fight and struggle to score. If Perkins crashed in and hits him he can’t spin around and reach the ball over the goal. He just stood there. Inexcusable.

Stop. Bad angles and missed tackle have nothing to do with his ACL. He is physically capable.

Again, I am not excusing his play overall, but when you can’t trust your natural abilities following the recovery for that type of injury, you mentally aren’t going to play the same.

Kid made significant mistakes, but he wasn’t the only one. He gets blamed ok the missed 3rd down sack but the other blitzed off the corner (Woodland) actually killed that play. He took a horrid angle and made Perkins blitz a waste. If Woodland stays to the outside like he is supposed to, then Pavia likely gets sacked.

In the end, it’s a shame because he is a talent and people expect too much sometimes for players right away when they return because of a few fluke times played have bounced back super quickly.

Hope they focus on film and really iron out the issues but that was a team effort yesterday. Weeks was just as bad but because he made one play, some give him less grief.

I’ve been a Perk fan for sometime. Take a look at the 4th and goal play…watch Perk and come back to this thread with your findings..

Perk is fine, the bleeding vaginas are gonna bash everybody because they’re cry babies throwing a fit. If you think you’re gonna discuss football on this board now I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

Delusion. No, he's far from fine. He is a hindrance on the field now. Actually watch the game.

Lmfao, you think he’s the only player who’s taken a bad angle this year? Like I said, the tiny amount of reason this board had is now out the window and it’s cry baby time

We need to bench Delane as well because he did it too and gave up the longest play yesterday. Get that overrated bum out of there lol
