Even though they haven't really won anything since Chernobyl people still see them as a top tier program. Anytime there is a school with this magnitude of an opening every major coach will get a phone call, or at least their agent will. I don't see BK even acknowledging this, but at the end of the day......money talks.

Look at their schedule next year. Look at what they paid their coach

Guys are going to be lining up around the block for that job

Indiana is going to spend the rest of the season answering those questions.

Going to cost them a lot of money to buy out a coach as well. Surprised they didn’t just wait till the end of the season.

good point. Marshall, Temple, Buffalo OOC

5 home game B1G schedule, toughest games on schedule are Michigan, Washington and USC and nobodies beside that. Someone’s going to look like a savior there next year getting them to the playoff with that Charmin soft schedule. Crazy people act like the B1G has passed up the SEC

Their list is not likely to get past Rhule or Cignetti.

If a coach cant get it done at LSU he sure as hell ain't at Penn state. There's always hope though.

If they were smart they would have Orgeron at the top of their list. Right???

I’d strongly argue it’s easier to go 10 & 2 and make the playoff at Penn State than it is in this extremely tough SEC.

Its a ridiculously easy schedule

The right coach could come in and very easily have them in the playoffs year 1

I think they want Cignetti. But I don't think they can get him. Indiana boosters have been coming through as of late.

I think you're right and they throw a wild number at Cignetti. With a better recruiting ground and facilities than indiana I could see him making that move.

Curt is 64. I don't think he is looking to move again. My son goes to IU and they absolutely love him there. And, the Mark Cubans of the world aren't letting him go.

I would love it if CBK went to State College. Not happening, but I'd still be happy if it did.

Well if 10-2 is the goal , then yes Penn State is an easier place to do that but if you want to recruit the best athletes and win a national championship, LSU is much better for that.

Kelly to Penn St is wishful thinking. I expect Penn St to go after a good coach who is a sure hire. Kelly is certainly a gamble for a program on the brink. Just look at LSU. How many other coaches would have been a better hire? I don’t expect Penn St to take that chance.
