Do normal families even go to Disney anymore? The vast majority of Disney shite I see online is from those Disney adult freaks

I went to both US locations several times as a kid. Never took my own. Its not worth it for today’s expense and hassle.

Meanwhile popular hotels on the Vegas strip are $30/night.

I have buddies that take their kids every year. They offer a 40% discount if you book your next trip as soon as you get home.

It's like an economics experiment. How high can they go?

Less people coming means those that do will pay more.

Can we just stop supporting these assholes already?
Posted on 10/8/25 at 5:39 pm to SPEEDY
Probably trying to price out the problematic peoples.

You can't even rent a hotel in Vegas for an hour for $30.
So Im told...

It's not worth the money.
Last year we did one week at Wilderness Lodge, and 3 park days.
This past summer we did two weeks out west, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Rocky Mountain NP, Denver, Salt Lake City, with other stops in Wyoming and Idaho, at multiple 5 star resorts, and somehow Disney was more expensive, for half the time, and thats on a straight dollar for dollar basis excluding inflation.
I get fools love to burn cash but it's going to be a long time before our family goes back to Disney.

$224 per person to go in the park to spend more money. What a time we live in.

In contrast, what’s a comparable Universal ticket? If they play their cards right, they may soon be able to take a shot at being king. Disney has woked themselves into a tough corner.

We are not the ‘cram as much into a vacation as humanly possible’ kind of people. Even if we were, at $900/day, there’s no way we would ever get our money’s worth.
For that kind of money, I’d rather hire a guide and go fish for the day. At least we have a chance to bring home groceries.

Nope
A decent strip hotel will be 200-300 a night on weekends for a basic room
