Craving a Good Pastrami sandwich(Metairie area)

Man, I'm craving a really good pastrami sandwich. I'm in Metairie but if it's good enough it's not beyond me to drive a bit. Yeah, we have the Kosher Cajun which I haven't been to in a while but just wondering if there's anything else.
And before anyone mentions Stein's ... the last time I went there I was disappointed.

It's not every day, but Southern's on Vet's brines and smokes their own brisket pastrami and makes pastrami sandwiches

damn I habe gone to WOrld Deli my whole life and never even thought of pastrami.

Also there is a place that opened up on Oak Street that's whole deal is new york style deli. I'm sure they have Pastrami. Paulie's. I haven't been there

Well, I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped at World Deli. I got the Pastrami Supreme. It did not disappoint.
