I have a coworker that we will be doing a raffle for. What are some legitimate suggestions for prizes that would generate interest?

Ask local restaurants if they want to donate a gift card to raffle for the benefit. Same for local carwashes, oil change places, pretty much anything local. Local, community businesses like the write off and good will that participating in charity gives them.

Restaurant gift cards are easy to get. I am in Houma and would be glad to contribute. If you cannot get down here just go to whatever Hooters in Louisiana is close to you

gift baskets with assorted themed stuff - get your wife to help with this- she'll get it.
gift cards to local restaurants and coffee shops

also- some dental offices will donate free teeth whitening trays or some may even donate the In- office instant teeth whitening light thing (retails around 500$- but it serves the dental office by getting new patients in the chair and hope to turn them into new patients)

I would like to keep the prize around $500. I have a coworker on the list for a double lung transplant and we would like to make the most money possible.

If you can get a rare bourbon that might attract a lot of people. You may want to do something that can pull in women too, since bourbon will be mostly guys.

Consider making the tickets $10 each. People will easily drop a twenty and buy 2 tickets. For some reason if you open at $20 each you will sell less.
