If there's an extraterrestrial advanced civilization out there with bad intentions, and they plan to colonize earth and strip our resources to sustain themselves, what the hell can we do? Nothing.
I mean, if the above scenario is accurate, why would we have a chance? We have grown-assed adults here on earth that dress in cartoon animal costumes and have big orgies after which they go online and argue with people about how women have penises. But we're supposed to worry about disintegration rays or getting anal probed? These people anal probe themselves on the regular.
Also, from a perspective of pure logic, IF that chunk of floating rock is some kind of alien space craft transporting intergalactic tourists around the universe, we have to assume an unfathomable amount of technology would exist among them. And if we can see their ship from here, they can most assuredly see us, and so why wouldn't they just use a long range weapon to selectively kill human life and leave the planet relatively unscathed for when they arrive?
So, no. I'll not be worrying about alien visitors from a suspiciously phallus-shaped rock in space. I'm too busy struggling to hopefully get to retire before I die, trying to keep food on the table, and watching brainless retards walk my country backwards off the ledge.

Generally don't catch Tim, but 3I Atlas is significant from an astronomy perspective. Very unique comet not seen yet. So there's that.
But it's not freaking aliens.
Seen more than a few full tilt grifters trying to milk this issue for what it absolutely isn't.
And let's not forget other stuff we've been baited with lately. Tic Tac ufo's, massive structures underneath the Giza pyramids. mystery drones, etc...
