Looks like a rerelease… right?
More? I’ve seen the animated part of the origin of Lucy Liu’s character already.

I know these are over the top and whatever, but I actually love these movies.

Both movies together and additional animated footage? That will be well over 4 hours.

In.
Animated part was really cool, I'd be down for more of it.
Still my favorite Tarantino movies.

The Kill Bill movies should have missed me by a good bit. I like QT movies, but the old school hyper violent/bloody kung fu type movies just aren't my thing at all. But for whatever reason, I really like the KB movies a lot. They are both really good.

I seem to remember that QT was butthurt they made him edit the movie and cut it into two different releases.
But it's pretty arrogant to assume audiences would want to sit through over four hours of homage to his childhood kung fu nostalgia.

The Whole Bloody Affair removes the cliffhanger ending from 2003’s Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and the recap that began 2004’s Kill Bill: Vol. 2. New to this theatrical release will be a never-before-seen 7½-minute animated sequence. ?Select presentations of the release will be in 70mm and 35mm. Tarantino has spoken about a version that included animated footage, going as far back as San Diego Comic-Con 2014.
So might not be too bad. I may have to check this one out.
I love the whole Kung-Fu homage in those movies. And some badass ladies as well.

I've watched both volumes tons of times, but amazingly never back to back. It'll be interesting to see how it flows from eastern to western in one go at it. And will the black and white scene now be color? I know that was an NC-17 thing way back when.

David Carradine made those movies work, if you’re going to name your flick kill bill then bill better be a compelling character and DC nailed it. I was even empathizing with him at the end LOL
