While we are all focused on dart when we took banks instead?

Our OT’s are having a decent day against an incredible edge talent team

No, everyone wants to be bitches and whine about losing games to get the #1 pick.

Meanwhile, the last 5 teams to have the #1 pick didn't get any better with it. They all arguably look just as bad, if not worse.

Jacksonville had back to back #1s, took a "can't miss" QB and an "elite" DE, and both are awful.

Yep. Our tackles, Kendre at RB, and the two young safeties are good foundational pieces for us.

Adding a good EDGE and figuring out a top 20 QB and we’re in playoff position every season.

Yeah i feel like Jacksonville perpetually had a top 5 pick and sucks every year. They were good for like one year and they even joked about it on that show the Good Place

Travon Walker isn't awful. He is well above average for a DE/Edge.

I just don't know what the hell is wrong with Lawrence though.

He’s also the third youngest player in the entire NFL

Hasn’t been perfect but he’s also faced some tough DEs early on

I appreciate your optimism but it's hard for me to believe that Loomis won't find a way to screw things up.

We were in playoff contention for 16 seasons with Loomis as GM

According to who? I haven't been that impressed with Banks at all. Not bad for a rookie but he's been getting abused. He's just better than what yall are used to.

They majorly fricked up picking him over Hutchinson. I thought they were retarded when they did it.

He got handled last week against the Bills. But I could tell the first game he looks like he’s a more natural left tackle than Fuaga. I probably would have went with Walker draft day, but after thinking about it, it made sense b/c it solidified two other spots on our line. With Fuaga to RT and Penning to guard. Both spots where they shoukd be at.

I will say, I said the same. But now that we've got a few years, it's a bit closer than it seems - walker seemingly is the better run defender while Hutchinson is better pass rusher.

That's a good point but, IMHO, I'll be surprised if he can replicate that success without Brees or Payton.
