So easy to see from the evidence but he doesn’t even explain things well. Wouldn’t it be more clear and simple to say something like it is impossible to cause an accident from 75 yards behind the accident as opposed to what he said—-Just because you’re in the lane doesn’t mean you caused the accident. Evidence is so clear, but he is a little hard to follow.

The Lacy family is about to sue to set back whichever parish that was in financially for years. The reality of this situation. I imagine sue for whatever his predicted NFL future earnings would be.

Weird, I thought he had committed suicide. Didn’t realize the cops killed him.

Sue for what?

He wasn’t convicted of anything, there was no wrong doing. They arrested him he got his bail, he was going to have his day in court.

He made a choice to end his own life instead of waiting for his day in court. As sad as it is - it’s no one’s fault but his.

I sat on a jury in which he was the defense attorney. His client had zero case. Zero. Yet I still felt he did an amazing job. I'd hire him if I was ever in need of an attorney.

The state troopers’ report and their response sounds like an institutional cover up for an overzealous cop with small dick syndrome. That cop’s dickheadness resulted in an unnecessary prosecution and ruining Lacy’s reputation and ultimately his death.

ETA: I am no lawyer and I don’t know if Lacy’s family has a case against anyone to sue. However, that small dick state trooper needs to be fired. He is the type of POS that gives cops a bad rap.

It kind of reminds me of the La’el Collins situation from a ruining his draft status standpoint. Lacy was basically radioactive to NFL teams and it turns out the whole thing was made up by the cops. I’m not really sure you can sue the cops? Don’t they have some immunity?

F**k state troopers. Nothing but ticket writers with a sense of entitlement.

It seems bad with what’s come to light and the LSP and officials need to be held accountable. The media, too. Sensationalism should be outlawed. No amount of money will bring him back, but someone needs to pay if it was known he wasn’t at fault.

Nothing exonerates Lacy.

If he’s not in the other lane in a no passing zone, passing four cars at well over the speed limit, none of this happens.

Good job by the Attorney getting all you tools minds warped.

I am not a lawyer but I would imagine there has to be something in the law about witness coercion and falsifying a witness statement

I thought he did a great job. I watched the whole thing and left with very little shadow of a doubt the KL had nothing to do with the collision.

uhhhmmm, when Lacy was 72 yards "behind" when the wreck occured? How could anything he did "behind" the wreck contribute to the wreck?

Thank God somebody gets it and didn't get brainwashed by this ambulance chasing lawyer looking to make bank on the backend of this tragedy....watch the film again...not only did Lacey breing in the wrong lane cause this woman's fatal decision to go into the other lane...but another car serves to the right, off the road, looking at "whatever" was hurtling at them......Lacey passing FOUR cars at a high rate of speed in a no passing zone started this deadly chain of events.
