Convicted rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs has written a letter to the judge overseeing his criminal trial, asking for leniency during his sentencing on Friday and blaming his past behaviour on drug addiction.
In the four-page letter, he apologises "for all of the hurt and pain that I have caused" and says that he has been reformed after spending 13 months in a Brooklyn jail.
He is set to be sentenced Friday, Oct. 3rd.

In July, he was found guilty of two prostitution charges and now faces up to 20 years in prison. Prosecutors are seeking a sentence of at least 11 years, but Combs' lawyers are asking that he be released later this month.
If the latter happens I wonder if black Americans will rejoice like they did when OJ was acquitted.

If all he was found guilty of was prostitution, he should just be released.

Shiiit. If we gave 20 years for prostitution charges half the OT would be doing life.

11 years for Transportation to engage in prostitution charge seems excessive to me

He should 100% be released on time served for his actual convictions. Anything other and it’s just a witch hunt

Will he be sentenced for what he was actually convicted of? Or will he be sentenced based on who he is and the overall sense that he is an unappealing guy?

Didn't he also assault one of the strength coaches on the UCLA football team, because he was mean to his son? I remember that being swept under the rug quick. I know that coach has to be laughing his arse off at Diddy's situation now.

The judge should send him the prison at hard labor for 10 years, but grant leniency by giving him a couple barrels of this....

They should have charged him with Big’s murder while they were at it. Combs had him killed and made gobbles of money off his name.

Defending a despicable human being is certainly one way to go.
