BK confirmed what many suspected the whole time, the “Nuss is playing injured” excuse is BS. After trying to dodge two questions related to Nuss’s health, BK ends with “Garrett is healthy, he needs to play better.”

Nuss is what he is at the point. He’s an average QB that is going to push the ball down the field and turn the ball over and he is going to struggle to scramble away from pressure.

It’s pretty clear he’s hurt by not answering the question.

Why is he so much worse than last year?

Then somebody needs to plug his damn arm back into a socket, because it needs recharging.

If he’s not hurt then the QB whisperer Sloan has completely neutered him.

He’s gone from throwing darts all over the field to lofting out routes and being physically unable to throw the ball more than 50 yards to an open receiver.

Personally, I think he’s hurt and they’re lying about it. Both Garrett and Kelly get really awkward when asked about it.

Because the OL is worse than last year and Nuss is not built to overcome it. It’s really hard to pass when the defense drops 8 men into coverage. It’s exceptionally difficult when the defense can STILL pressure the QB while dropping 8 into coverage.

Did someone ask Nuss after the game about him being injured and he said “no comment”?

Then why has he regressed so much w some HC/OC since last season?

Heck the OL has been pretty good in pass pro overall. Can’t really blame that.

He’s clearly injured. Something is off. The deep ball at the start of the game was so underthrown WR had to literally stop to catch it. Sailed one big time that led to AA injury. Next pass to AA was a 1 yard crossing route and it was waaay behind him. Why he is playing instead of getting healthy is beyond me. He should have not played against SELA.

The fact that they admitted previously that he had a "torso' injury was it, makes it very likely he is injured. What better explanation exists?

Not sure I'm buying that.

Something isn't right with the way he's throwing the ball right now. Sure, the OLine play hasn't been good, but Nuss' passes are terrible. Consistently under throwing balls isn't something Nuss had issues with before. Now, even on short and intermediate routes his throws have no "zip" on them. He's lobbing the ball on those routes and for deeper routes he's severely under throwing the ball.

You don't see this type of regression physically from a player without there being some kind of injury issue.

He is not hurt if he can jump straight up and bring his knees up to his chin before the first offensive play of the game each week.
