I really thought he was innocent
The former 911 Director for the Orleans Parish Communications District has been convicted of lying and covering up a wreck in his city-issued car.
Tyrell Morris was found guilty on all charges after a jury deliberated for less than an hour.
Morris was convicted of charges including false impersonation of a peace officer, malfeasance in office, injuring public records and insurance fraud.
