ESPN Article--We Didn't Come to Ireland Early Enough for ME to go Sightseeing
Bruh.
You're there to go try to win a game. It's not a vacation.
If he was complaining about not having enough time to work out the jet lag OK. But this dude is bitching that he didn't get a vacation on the company dime.
quote:
"I have a family history going back to Ireland and Scotland, so I've always wanted to get over here," Rodgers said. "... I'm a historian, so I know, kind of, the history, geopolitically, in the area. I'm a huge fan of Guinness. I don't really drink beer, but if I do, I drink Guinness. That's not a bulls--- line that I'm telling you guys. It's the truth. I've heard it tastes different off the tap on Ireland and the States. I've been in Northern [Ireland], and it was great, but I'm excited about seeing what it tastes like here."

Does he not realize he has so much money that he could literally just fly there on any random Tuesday, go have a look, stay in a 5 star hotel and then come back Friday without even knowing he spent money?

He can go when he's retired in a year or 2!
Total jerk.

A guy with a net worth of $200 million is complaining about a free trip

He did a documentary with Netflix. Probably just saying this to find a way to name drop Guinness, since they just had a show come out this week on Netflix.

This a nothing burger if I've ever seen one.

I don't think he's crying about going to Ireland, he's mad they didn't go earlier to have more time to see the country

Did he break up with his family or did his family break up woth him?

I think it's more the former but the latter isn't losing sleep over it.

You know how I know propaganda works? Every word out of Roger’s mouth since the media smeared him over the vaccine is turned into drama.

Is he complaining that much?
I didn’t read too far but it seems like he was interviewing with an Irish host and was saying “man I wish we could be here longer.”

I don't have any problem with what he's saying.
Since the NFL insists on playing more international games, the teams should let the players experience more of the local scenery. The players and locals might even appreciate the trips a little more beyond the novelty aspect. Most teams have byes or extra time off around these games anyway.
