Kamala has been talking about how she would have preferred Soyboy Pete for VP.

AOC may be running for pres.

Bernie remains as popular as ever.

NYC may have a communist mayor.

You have to think the DNC will at minimum APPEAR to move to the center for the next Pres election right?

The Dim party consists of voting blocks who are a collection of miscreants, deviants and victims, they're are stuck with the shite show they created.

The demon party has been taken over by the communists. They will only go harder to the left at full speed. The days of Gary Harts are over, anyone not left of Lenin is not acceptable.

Their leadership? Full force to the Left.

Their rank and file? Cracks are starting to show. Anticipate we are going to see a lot of them move into the moderate column.

they CANT move to the center by the very nature of their messaging over the last two decades

any move to the center will be viewed as appeasing Hitler by the extremists (which is a large percentage of them now)

it's the foundational flaw in progressive politics and why the movement always ends up consuming itself - you MUST keep "progressing"

The recent calls for more violence should answer this question

if you think they are stopping you aren't paying attention. It will be left left and more left for now.

Thats not how they operate..

The entire strategy revolves around moving the 'middle' to the left

Think about how far they would have to backtrack just to get to "OK, gay marriage is one thing but this other shite is nuts".

Gay marriage was a career killer for most democrats as recent as 30 years ago

The answer is right there for all to see. Just take a look around at everything that has happened since the turn of the century.

No matter how many times they suffer a setback, their answer is to double down and push even farther Left. They've gone so far that they've pulled the center of the Overton Window into "socialist" territory. And, at this point, they're fine with the thought of death to any person whose political ideology is to the right of Mao.

I thought they would learn the lesson after the election (because it was plain as day) and was wrong about that.

They keep this up and the MAGA dream of 8 years of Vance becomes very real, but that's still 3 years away (and a likely major recession in there).

However, midterms may be difficult. That's going to be the bellwether I would imagine. If they do poorly (they could get slaughtered at this rate) they would have to adapt or legitimately risk losing 12 years of power.

No, they won't mostly because they don't think they're wrong. It's like asking a Christian will they abandon their faith because Charlie got shot. They actually believe in leftist, progressive ideology and think that everyone else is crazy for not agreeing with them.

They seem pretty committed to full blow psyco with their current crop of "leaders." They have to move away from AOC, Booker, Newsome, Crockett, etc.

If they go to the center / nobody will believe a single word they say. It’s going to take a lot of years for people to ever trust that party again

Based upon facebook comments alone and the leadership of the democratic party which is far, far left, they will continue to hate and spew hatred at America and American citizens.

I can only hope that the young people of this country see how one side reacts to adversity vs the other. It's so different, it's almost unimaginable.

What you would have it a new generation, like the Tea Party in 2012-14 or MAGA in 2016-2018.

Your AOC's aren't going anywhere, but there's a lot of districts where new blood could come in with a more centrist message, especially in the Rust Belt and other union-based regions who naturally align with the center-left (MAGA is more a marriage of convenience).

The crucial variable to really make this ramp up is the economic recession looming. If they're on the right side of variance in terms of time, 2028 could be major. But nothing indicates they want to be smart, so as of now I'll only say that's a theory. The timing could also be off (if the recession comes this year or early 2026, it may flip the midterms but will be too early for the above scenario).

They will continue to go Left. They will win elections that will validate their ideology. If the GOP doesn’t get its act together, 2026 will be a blow out win for the Socialists.
