Communication outage at the DFW metro airports causing mass diversions and has put a ground stop in place for several hours.

I'll stay with the 90 minute rush hour commute in Houston, thank you. I was headed to the theater district at 6PM yesterday, and westbound I-10 was bumper to bumper from Katy Mills almost all the way to 610. That's almost 20 miles for those of you not from these parts.

Jesus I don’t miss those days. I lived out in Bridgeland and would do the 290 express alone - the fine risk was worth the time savings. I initially would ask any of the bus riders if they were going out to the Cypress park and ride and get them to ride with me.

I'm hard pressed to call my driving experiences on I-10 west of Houston pleasant, but I watched it get worse.
The kicker was when school started each fall. Early traffic came to a standstill one interstate exit further west each and every year.
I lived where I would commute across I-10 or contra most flow.
Where I live now we just got our first traffic light in our very small town.

BWW in the international concourse...price nearly the same as BWW outside of an airport and the cheapest cocktails in any airport in the US.

I was on a plane to Dallas midair and we sat on the runway 20 mins before taking off, made it near, did a holding pattern, then turned all the way back around and landed at or original destination. Such a pain!
