I think you mean more 1983 ish. The Police was a band and not the enemy of some in society, Wam was also a band and not what you did with opponent fan’s head at NFL game, no social media shredding of one another, mass shootings were not yet invented…

I concur.. however i didnt create the pic or the caption, i merely came across it on the world wide intrawebs .. but i agree, the pic is, as the kids say- “giving 1983” vibes more so than 1989 .

I don’t miss the:
-30% abortion rate (would have been 50-60% in the USSR where that pic was taken)

-AIDS
