If a governor’s election was this fall, and you had to pick btwn them, would you pick Landry or John Bel Edwards? Which is better/worse.

I still would take fake tiger Landry of Edwards

Landry 100 out of 100 times.
Edwards was a top 5 bad governor in the country during his reign.

Not crazy about Landry, but he’s light years better than JBE. The memories of Covid must be fading if you felt like you needed to ask this.

You know what? I'm a staunch MAGA conservative but I hate Jeff Landry so much that the idea of voting for JBE over Landry if JBE decided to run again crossed my mind over the last couple months.
After Charlie Kirk was shot and seeing how the left has reacted to it, frick that. I'm happily voting for Jeff Landry just to stick it to the left some more.
frick democrats. Seriously, just frick everything they want, everything they stand for, everything they fight (shoot) for, frick everything about democrats.
And if you're reading this and you're a democrat, frick you too.

I will never vote for a Democrat no matter what. I’d vote for Adolph Hitler’s fossilized turd over any Democrat.

Landry if that’s my only two choices. shite choices, but that’s the Louisiana way.
Both act like uber-sensitive, Huey Long wannabes. Both love the trial lawyer industry. But at a minimum, at least Landry didn’t threaten to fine businesses during COVID, and he supports keeping born males out of female sports.

I’m still voting Landry but goddamn our candidates have sucked this century. And the biggest disappointment is still Jindal who waisted the golden goose he was gifted..

Governor Honor Code was a POS.
Let’s take a walk down memory lane.
Despite Trump’s pre Covid booming national economy, Louisiana has lagged behind the rest of the country. Our economic performance was rated from 47th to 50th!
Governor Edwards called his decision to expand Medicaid the “easiest decision” he’s made, the expansion was rushed, and rampant waste, fraud, and abuse prompted a federal probe.
In his first year in office, Governor Edwards proposed 9 tax increases, including the enactment of a sales tax increase, the largest tax increase in state history.
The Advocate: “Louisiana actually has the third highest state and local sales tax combined in the country.”
Governor Edwards proposed steep cuts to the TOPS program every single year in his first term in office.
His extremely restrictive Covid response ran afoul of the state constitution and can arguably be said to have cost more lives than it saved.
He also nearly doubled the state budget while leading the policy charge that depopulated the state more than nearly any other, and simultaneously made Louisiana an economic Southern failure. Goodbye congressional seat! Goodbye Louisiana children.
He vetoed the ban on “gender-affirming care” for transgender minors.
He tried to interfere in the criminal justice system to stymie capital punishment. And he finally came out that he doesn’t support the death penalty in any form.
His only redeeming value was his claim to pro life for the unborn. But, he appointed Dr. Rebekah Gee who received accolades from the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) and Choice USA and had fought for the pro-abortion cause throughout her career.
It’s no wonder that he is the first Louisiana governor to win reelection with fewer votes than his first run!
He probably won’t even run for U.S. Senator despite all the Democrats begging him to.

Landry without question. Not a huge fan. But he didn't strip away people's first amendment constitutional rights as far as I know.
