I’m still so sad that Charlie Kirk is gone.

It’s still just eating at me.

He loved Jesus and shared the Gospel in some of the places where it was most needed.

He was a husband and father who adored his family.

He believed that discourse and the sharing ideas were essential to our freedom.

He was a good man who stood for what’s right and what’s good.

He was willing to talk to those who disagreed with him and with whom he disagreed. He didn’t just shut them out.

No one deserves to die over their religious and/or political views.

I agree. We live in dark times. The girl killed on the train, Kirk, hell, a man cut off a guys head and kicked it across a parking lot the other day…

I have turned my back on a couple of my best friends because of this. They were assholes about the murder. Insulting. Disrespectful. I tried so hard to let it go and move on. I tried to focus on other topics. But the damage was done. I couldn’t be around them anymore. It made me sick. And I wasn’t even a huge Charlie Kirk fan. I thought he was a brilliant and good man who was senselessly murdered for talking. And it hurt me to see the state of things. And they celebrated it. A murder of a father and husband who just talked.

I could never see them the same again. It hurt bad to turn my back but I have no choice but to move on without them in my life. It disgusts me what this world has become.

But it sucks because now I really don’t have anymore close close friends. But I had to stand up on this.

Can’t shake it either. I still find myself thinking it’s not real.

I keep going back to the fam group text of the videos. It was so horrid we thought it was AI or fake. A sick joke.

Daily Mass and Bible reading.

Yep.

It was beautiful.

The way he talked to his baby girl about a subject that she certainly couldn’t yet understand but knew was super important for her to hear. It would have been a story he told her over and over her entire life…a message about her mother and what made her mother precious and so special.

Dude really was someone special.

I'm about as emotional as a lamp post. I've cried very times in my adult life. I lost an uncle that I was extremely close with that shattered me cause he was literally like a Dad and was my best friend. This has hit every bit as hard

He was a great guy, and He will continue to change things for years to come. Very sad that his little girl will not have his love. Makes me want to…(deleted what I typed).

Same here. The day of the shooting, a work friend was laughing and showing people the video at the office. He then asked if we thought he deserved it.

I got pretty mad and said “deserved it? Deserves it??? Because he had a different point of view than you?” I then walked away because I needed to disengage from that conversation.

I haven’t spoke to him since.

He was a good honorable man who wanted the best for all people regardless of their race or gender or sexual orientation. He was a better man than me that’s for sure.

Went down a rabbit hole watching Charlie Kirk videos. He was so respectful and rationale in his debates. Never got angry and never insulted anyone. Even if you don't agree with him, he was always respectful and polite to the people he was debating......and they killed him for it.

yep.

It's weird, because there are so many of his videos popping up in my various feeds, and of course, I watch them, or listen to old interviews he did with Megyn Kelly, or whoever, and it's so easy to forget he's gone. Because there's his voice, or there he is in living color on video, and his ideas are just as pertinent as ever. And then it will hit me all over again that he was shot and it makes me sad all over again.

The only way a woman who lost her soulmate could talk like that 2 days after a brutal death was if she was of the Holy Spirit.

Erika glowed of the Holy Spirit.

I wonder what those that are clueless of God in any form saw? Did they laugh at her like they did the video of Charlie's death? Even atheists didn't.

I think it is gut wrenching to us all because they are taking joy watching. No human should take joy watching death- especially that horrific. They did.

Even the worst person/enemy I could think of I couldn't take joy. If it were a demon in human form I couldn't take joy-just relief they were gone.

They can't possibly see Charlie as a demon in human form --so they are logically demons themselves under a spell of lies in brainwashing, What else could it be?
