CBK Presser proved 2 things to me

That he is a complete imbecile and is not watching the same games we are.
He says we can run the ball. He says our 3rd down conversion rate is excellent...
Both are complete, utter BS
vs Clemsux we ran for 108 and on 3rd were 4/11
vs La Tech. we ran for 128 which included runs of 43 and 48. So other than those 2 we ran for 32 yds on 37 attempts. 9/16 on 3rd.
vs FLA we for 102 which included the 51 yarder at the end. So, 21 for 51. And on 3rd we were 4/14
So again. BK is totally clueless about what is REALLY going on out on the field. We can not run the ball. Our 3rd down efficiency sucks.
Something has got to change fellas. We got lucky as hell that Lagway is total trash with the 5 ints.
Our D bailed us out last night. But can they continue to score points when the offense can not? Who knows.
My takeaway...CBK needs to get his head out of his arse and really watch the games. And we need way better offensive game plans going forward.

BK knows what he has on defense. He and Sloan are running the offense in a manner to not lose.

Playing not to win is exactly how you lose
Posted on 9/14/25 at 9:07 am to LSUGOAT2
Do you honestly think he doesn't realize this? He didn't get mad because he disagreed with the premise of the question. He got mad because he didn't want to talk about it. He didn't want to talk about it because he's already thrown his offense under the bus a few times this season and he didn't want to do it again after a big win.

I understand that, but it’s a very dangerous tactic to use. Why intentionally hamstring a potentially explosive offense? You’re going to need it eventually.

What are you talking about out.
I’m as frustrated as anyone with the offense, but last they did exactly what they needed to do to WIN.
After Nuss threw that bonehead INT, BK basically said enough and played ball control and let the defense win it.
Last night it was the right strategy and we won.
Problem is we can’t rely on that against actual good teams coming up
BK is not as stupid as some of you seem to think. He knows as well as anyone what the problems with this team are.

Dont disagree with you, just calling it how I see it.
The play calling on offense has been vanilla and complete arse. Only other thing I can think is Nuss has some sort of injury that’s keeping him from throwing the ball down the field.

If you think he’s intentionally hamstringing the offense, you really have no clue at all.

Yea man we could take three average posters from Tigerdroppings and replace Kelly and not skip a beat
Some of yall are unbelievably stupid with an ego to match

So we are back to the days of Les Miles

He thinks we should have on sunshine and rainbow glasses because of a 3-0 start and ranked top 3, this fan base knows better because we’ve already been down this road before and know full well how this plays out.

I think what he wanted to do was purposefully fail on 3rd down so we could break off that run at the end of the game

Because Kelly and Sloan know its not an explosive offense.
We cant run the ball and the trust factor with Nuss isnt there. Why no trust? they have seen him in practice turn it over.
This is the only way we can win right now. Great D just enough O to get by.

Ding ding ding I think we have a winner!
The line can’t run block and Nuss is not that effective for a a senior QB. Seems like we’ve been here before (echos of Les Miles).

He for sure wanted the sunshine pumping and softball questions.
Posted on 9/14/25 at 9:28 am to LSUGOAT2
He was out of line in his response, but i think what he took issue with was it being the FIRST question out of the gate. Not what went well, but what didn't, in a win. His response made it worse though.

Thanks for your vast knowledge coach. Your past head coaching experience along with your fabulous high school, college, and pro football career is unquestionably, we are lucky to have you here at TD. Man what are you doing on at TD when you should either still be playing pro ball or head coaching at LSU?

Ugh? AAAAAAHHHHH we haven't lost. Stevie Wonder can see better than you.

His response was perfect.

For the record I dont like Kelly and that’s not changing even if we win a Natty.
However, if Napier would have been cautious and run the ball v letting Lagway throw 5 ints the outcome may have looked much different.
