How did you hear about the attack in Utah?

Randomly was checking out YouTube, of all places, and saw on the main page Jeremy from The Quartering posted a vid that Charlie Kirk had been shot. It had just been uploaded. Not a live feed, but within minutes of the attack. Watched for a couple of minutes, then flipped over to another live show. Neither of the host were saying anything about it, but the chat were typing in that Charlie had been shot.
Switched on the AM radio. Nothing. Another AM news station. Nothing.
Over to X... nothing.
Back to the livestream. After a good 5 minutes more, one of the host finally caught on and the reactions were visceral. Stunned, angry, confused. But mainly angry.
I felt it too.

Saw something random on FB and then went to twitter where the news was blowing up. First report I saw said he was in stable condition... then I saw the video and I knew that was BS.

I was working on a plumbing top out in Shreveport. My buddy who knows I listen to the Charlie Kirk show everyday on my ride home from work came up to me and asked me “Did you hear that CK got shot?” I dropped my pex gun and immediately came to TD.
I haven’t been able to think about anything else since that moment. This is devastating.

Those people who are Content Contributors have a very thin line to walk. If they say, or do anything the GOOGLE Minions don't like, and it doesn't take much, they'll get demonetized in a heart beat. Yeah, 90% of the stuff on YouTube is utter shite, with truth in Content usually being the #1 casualty.

My 16 yr old son texted my husband and I from school. He was in philosophy. He and his friends all loved him. Fortunately, their teacher let them discuss for the class period. They were all holding out hope until it was confirmed he had passed.

That was super heart wrenching to hear he'd passed, then he was in stable condition, there was a call for blood donations, and after some time later, he'd passed.
I've not, seen the vid, but from the talk, it was really bad and most had written him off right there on the stage. Not JFK bad, but real bad.
