Having an elected state representative serve in the highly coveted role of public announcer for the flagship state university reeks of the appearance that the selection was quid pro quo.
The question I ask, what does he have to do to repay the privilege?

There was another gentleman that interviewed for the job that would have done a better job. He had experience and is brilliant individual with a distinct voice. Politics prevailed.

Complete lack of gravitas. He’s very meh. I know getting over Dan is going to be hard, but this guy sounds like he paid someone off for the position.

He did pronounce McDonalds as McDonald. Saying penal-ized reeked of him trying to be Borne. I had no idea who he was during the game, and looked it up afterwards. But, I noticed him way too often. He came off as showy, to me.
Again, just seemed like a fake person trying to mimmick Borne instead of being himself. Was not a fan. Hopefully he gets better.
