If he knew how they are built now he would probably understand. I used to work in the Deere plant in Georgia that made the 4000 and 5000 series tractors and they no longer strive for quality, it's all about building them as cheaply as possible with the cheapest parts possible.

Your Kabota is a much better choice considering what you get vs how much you spent, believe me

I was gifted a Cub Cadet mower a few years ago, and it turned out to be the biggest piece of shite I had ever seen. It barely made it past one summer before I gave up on the God damn thing. I still use my 30 year-old Murray workhorse mower.

You're not kidding. After only three cuts, the blade belt snapped and needed replacement. I bought a new belt and in order to install it, I had to lift the whole God damn engine block out of the mower. If I wasn't so pig-headed and determined to do it myself I would not have had any other choice but to bring it to a dealer to be fixed.

Theyve become a corporate boondoggle who chases paper profits to bolster stock prices. What they’ve been doing on the service side alone is worthy of scorn. The people running John Deere aren’t in touch with the realities of their customer base and essentially are a Chardonnay crowd running a company who’s customers want a Budweiser

You pay 20-30% more for a green tractor when an orange tractor can do the same job.

I hope the EPA gets rid of the emissions nonsense on all vehicles, especially tractors.

Most large American corporations fit this profile. Stop supporting them and trying to rig the economy in their favor.

There is nothing wrong with buying higher value foreign goods to force American companies to compete.

Protectionism simply keeps American dysfunction rolling.

Like Bud Light, Cracker Barrel, Gillette, Harley Davidson... it's "almost" like there's some massive financial benefit for these long standing companies to mock & insult their loyal customer base. Some underlying cause to ignore basic business practices and devalue their own companies.
