One Christmas day there was a car in front of me that was swerving a lot. I stayed relatively far behind them and called the police to tell them. I just didn't want someone's Christmas to be ruined because of some drunk idiot.

I told them the description of the vehicle, they then asked for mine. They was a policeman up ahead at a gas station. They were going be looking for the vehicle then mine to confirm it since it was a common vehicle. They told me t let the police in front of me so they could get behind them.

They rode behind the vehicle for about a quarter of a mile and the second they drifted just a little bit they hit the lights..

But that's not really crime stoppers which I have never called a tip into.

We lived in the French Quarter. We called in tips and in one case we gave them photos of a kid who had rammed his car into posts supporting a balcony.

Not to crime stoppers, but I’ve called in drunk drivers on two different occasions and got the guy pulled over.

One I observed hammering tall boys while on the freeway.

The other I observed buying beer in the gas station, popping one open, and swerving out of the parking lot. Note, this was near a school zone.

not to the 1-800-crime-stoppers number, but I have called 911 a couple times. Once to report a car going roughly 70 mph on the wrong side of the highway in North Carolina. The other was also a drunk driver who was swerving like crazy...was when I was late night moving stuff to the new home in this new town from across town

I've reported Nymerias abuse multiple times. Its like no one cares. Coyote must donate to one of the police foundations.

I was a valet manager at a casino. If a drunk guy was trying to get a vehicle we could stall them and offer to call a cab but we couldn't legally keep their keys if they insisted. I'd call the cops while stalling them and when they left I'd let the cops know which direction they were heading and license plate # and vehicle details.

Yes. Smelled weed coming from an apartment with sketchy people that just moved in off Brightside during college.

Wrote a report online, said cars were coming and going and weed smell emanating from the apartment

Came home one day to them executing a search warrant and saw a cop carrying an AK out of the apt

They gave me $500 that I had to pick up at a bank anonymously

The only survivor of Derrick Todd Lee contacted Crime Stoppers after he was caught because she described him to a sketch artist leading to his arrest. Lafayette Crime Stoppers said "nah, sorry for what happened to you but you ain't getting the money".

I was living in an apartment complex several years ago in Jackson, MS. In the middle of the day I came home from lunch and saw a car backing out of the parking lot. The driver then went out the exit gate and stopped. He then got out of his car and started unscrewing the license plate. He took it off, then replaced it with a fake license plate with terribly painted fake numbers/letters. Clearly he was stealing the car. I call the cops, tell them what is going on, and even give them the letters/numbers on the fake plate. The dispatcher could not have cared less about the report, ultimately ending the conversation with a dismissive "Yeah. Ok, is that it?"

Given the state of Jackson, MS, I would imagine my report of a stolen car ranked WELL below eating lunch on the dispatcher's/cops' priority list.

You can post from the afterlife?

Alternative Answer:
You call that “living”?

Why? I reported a stolen firearm, and the popo called me six months later and asked if *I* had found it. What's the point?
