Allar was 22/26 for 217 and a touchdown. How was his QBR so bad?

Hell, Lagway's stats were good as well. Someone explain it to me like I'm five.

That was a good question. Your numbers were right. Crazy that it could still be a low QBR.

Huh?
No shot Lagway had a QBR that low.
He was 15-18 with 3tds

That's what ESPN has LINK

QBR is a little weird though. They were already up 17-0 when he threw his first touchdown which affects the rating. A lot of his passes were on 1st down or 2nd and short which also affects the QBR.

QBR is adjusted for competition and also includes more situational things like down and distance and game situation.

Nuss, Lanoris, and Mateer are your Heisman candidates imo. One of those 3 is going to win it.

Allar and Cade are trash and Arch might still turn out good, but he isn’t going to be elite.

That Lagway QBR is surprising.

He is getting sucked off on every CFB show. Not saying he isn’t good but Va tech played like shite and SC going to lose 3-4 games this year.

where and when did you get that line?
I don't recall him being over +1000 at any point in time.

I made my bets the day after the championship game back in January on FD for Nuss to win the Heisman at +900, and LSU championship at +2500

Current odds on both are +800 (leader) and +1100 (5th), on FD

I think Klubnik played better than Arch.

Where you at Mateer?

Media moved on from Arch to Mateer, like a horny ex-gf with daddy issues.

I disagree. Give him a full season starting and he will be in the running for 2026. Book it!

That's the biggest problem with QBR.

No one outside of ESPN can explain it to you.

The formula is proprietary. The calculations change throughout the season.

The exact same performance against a different team produces a different result.

Indeed, the exact same performance against the same team at a different time produces different results.

QBR is bullshite.
