Does anybody know the scoop on this? I thought he was going to be a starter at corner until last night. I’m definitely not complaining, just curious. Sorry if this has already been addressed

How about the fact that he was bad last year? I was glad to see that he has been replaced.

Woodland looked really good last night. Added weight and still quick as a cat. Best man plays.

Felt like a silent suspension considering he played 0 snaps. I have no inside information about this though.

If he doesn’t get in against Florida, maybe the staff just pushed him down the depth chart.

Yeah I could have sworn I saw him in later in the game playing in the slot. I think Woodland, Delane, and Pickett are just better.

He did play. Special teams for sure. But also some
Regular Cb snaps.

We will likely need him for depth, so let’s not put him down, did not have any help last year-this year he has it. Sure he is not option 1 but injuries happen and he knows the system

Apparently Woodland passed him up on the depth chart.

2nd that. He is fast too on the blitz. Made up ground in a split second.

Also tied Perkins and West for tackles.

I was surprised also but I had been hoping and hoping for woodland to turn the corner and gain some weight and see if he would keep the speed.

Woodland has more twitch than Stamps. Better for this game

Stamps is solid & will play a lot throughout the year

He didn’t play any snaps on defense.

Woodland’s quickness and short area burst is outstanding. Kid can run too. He’s gonna be a good one. Recruiting services whiffed on having him as just a 3 star.
