On the same day Aguilar looked decent for UT

Don't forget his brother Madden too.

And Deshaun Foster may be the worst HC at a named school. My god they are so bad in every phase.

It’s actually too bad UCLA is this awful because they are likely to pull the plug on the Foster disaster and hire Lynn

UCLA is a mess. I feel like they don't care enough to put support into their football program

Word is 1.2 mil. So he took a pay cut, went to a worse team and looked like a fool publicly.

USC as well. They could do far better but the entire university is oriented against traditional sports and more towards academics and international students.

Nico is the QB that has all the physical tools but just isn’t a good QB. He needs to develop but UCLA is a train wreck right now. He should’ve stayed at Tennessee because Heupel would’ve done a better job of developing him than UCLA.

No, it was about money. He tried to shakedown Tennessee at the end of spring practice and they told him to F off. Since this all transpired after spring, his options were basically zilch. He had to settle for a UCLA, and a $600k pay cut.

I think there's evidence to suggest that it rarely does work out in the long term.

Yep. Defense and running game carried the Vols.

Didnt Lanning also let the Vols know he was shopping his services

What happened to this dude (or rather, what he did to himself) gives me joy. Not because I wish him ill-will (I kinda do, he seems like a chode), but because it gives me hope that maybe the “go get yours” mentality won’t be the prevalent one in CFB.

And other times it's smart. This kid has no future in the NFL, so get that money now.
