No idea of it's validity or track record though

Moral of the story: GET YOUR BENCH PRESS UP!

That is a problem with elections on all levels, we are already talking about 2028 POTUS election, house reps never stop campaigning, it has gone crazy

The misleading part of your thread's OP is that Cuomo and Mamdani are not running head to head against each other.

There are two OTHER candidates on the ballot on November 4.

Incumbent Mayor Eric Adams is running as an independent and Republican Curtis Sliwa, the founder of the NYC Guardian Angels, a group of volunteers who patrolled the NY subway system trying to reduce crime on the subway system back in the 1970's and 1980's.

What's horrifying for new Yorkers is that Adams, sliwa and Cuomo are going to split the sane vote and allow the communist to win. Sliwa should drop out and, for the greater good, Cuomo & Adams need to figure out who has a better shot against the commie.

Not me I’m still pulling for the Communist s*** show to help further solidify 2026 & 28. I want a stake in the DNC’s heart.

Good. I know it's fashionable to say, "Screw NYC. Who cares?" but we dont need a radical Marxist Muslim in control of that city. Hell, Cuomo is bad enough.

We also don't need another Obama climbing up the political ladder in the Democrat Party.

I'm not. I'm pulling for Mamdani because I want to watch that shithole burn. Then Republicans can bludgeon the Democrats with it in 2028 when they're advocating for the same policies nationally.

I'm not. I want Mamdani to win.

I don't live in NYC, and I don't necessseily want them to have to deal with him as mayor. But long term, it would be better if he won from a conservative POV. I want the country to see his policies in action and the rapid deterioration that comes with it.
