Watching “A Time to Kill” and it has got to be the sweatiest movie ever. Great movie but, My God, the amount of sweat!

The lack of apparent AC always confused me about in what time period this movies was supposed to take place

I came here to post A Time to Kill.

We don't have A/C in the south, apparently.

I think they wanted some ambiguity in the timeline, but yeah, it made no sense.

Jake drove an early 90's era SAAB, so not real ambiguous on the timeline

I just re-watched this the other day and thought the same thing. Read the trivia about it on IMDB,

"Often lampooned as the sweatiest movie of all time. After viewing the finished film for the first time, John Grisham is said to have remarked, "Schumacher knows we have air conditioning in Mississippi, right?"

But A Time to Kill takes place in the south.

I'm going with Top Gun. Average temp in Miramar in the summer is low 70s. Those guys are sweating constantly. You would think they were in Texas.
