Trading defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first-round draft picks for Micah Parsons - not a bad deal for the cowboys. They weren’t winning this year either way and won’t win the SB with Dak anyway.

Now trade Dak if possible for some more good picks and they’ll have a chance in a couple years maybe

Don't think GB will with Love either.

It’s kinda funny to me that I see people comparing this to the Cowboys sending Herschel Walker to the Vikings and how that haul produced the Cowboys’ Super Bowl run.

Unless the reported draft capital in this thread is severely understated then I don’t see how this is comparable to 3 first round, 3 second round, a sixth round, and a conditional third round pick

Not to mention whatever players they got in that trade

Lance being a Houston guy has seen it first hand with the Texans trading rapey Watson for a clutch of picks for the cornerstones they have now

Lol you think telling your defensive superstar to wait on a contract renewal when he was happy to take less than 40 a year, then drawing it out till it go sour while trying to manipulate him... then trading him for what will be late 1st round draft picks is good business?

You guys can spin anything

Rapey? Didn’t the guy just grow fond of a little consensual assplay?

Is that so wrong?

This is not what happened lmao.

Jerry and Micah had negotiated 1 on 1 and had the money and terms agreed. When this news was told to Mullacuck he threw a tantrum because he’s the NFLPA shill.

If I was the owner I’d have told the guy to frick off as well when the moron comes calling to negotiate with a year still on his deal. These two were skyscreaming about holding out and then threatened today to commit actual fraud against the franchise regarding a phantom injury so he could still collect a game check.

People are also saying it reminds them of how the Packers went out and got Reggie White in the 90’s that helped lead them to a Super Bowl. Both can be true but if all Dallas gets is 2 late first round draft picks out of this then they have to hit on both picks for this to be worth it.

That being said as a Packers fan I’m not over the moon over this. Parsons turned me off with how he acted in the preseason

I think a third first was needed for this deal. The problem is each of these firsts is going to be a late round pick.

I seriously doubt the Manning family would cooperate with Arch playing for Jerry Jones. Just my hot take.

He acted like he got his feelings hurt but Jerry acted that way too when he flapped his gums to the media. I hope he doesn't pull that shite in Green Bay but the only way I can see him get frustrated is if Love doesn't hold up his end of the deal on offense. It is readily known amongst Cowboys fans that Micah did not like Dak and will likely kill him in Week 4.

I would say the Cowboys are the clear cut winners but The Packers are in win now mode.

Dallas gets a man almost 30 with one sack last year. And most likely two late first round picks, Jerry fails again. To say this was all by design on his part was great comedy. And nobody is trading for Dak’s contract. Cowboys have almost half their salary cap in like 3-4 players next year. To hear fans getting excited in Dallas for Manning is even more entertaining. They want to suck for two more years in hopes of a small chance at getting him.

My take, also. Micah or not, they ain't progressing in the playoffs, much less going to the SB. Granted, JJ screwed everything up so badly that this was the best thing they could do.

Trading Dak is impossible. Who wants that contract?
