LSU and Nike have a four-year apparel deal running through June 2026, providing LSU with an average of $5.8 million annually, consisting of $1 million in cash and $4.8 million in product. The current agreement began on July 1, 2022, and includes performance apparel and team gear for all 21 varsity sports, with Nike having the right to negotiate a renewal with LSU upon its expiration.

I like Nike, but I would LOVE to see LSU repping Uncle Jack's brand. I think we would be the first major program to do so. And don't say it's just a baseball brand, plenty of schools wear the Jumpman for football. And who is more LSU than. Jack Marucci??

Zero chance, based of some of the other more recent deals entered into by other schools.

well, it is just a baseball brand. And the jumpman comparison is dumb. Jumpman is owned by Nike.

THIS is why Marucci won't be the uni provider anytime soon. They can't match that scratch.

If that’s really what you think, that’s wild. Marucci isn’t just some backyard brand anymore. They could easily afford ~$6 million a year.

Oh my God this season needs to start already. These off-season threads are so freaking retarded.

Die a thousand deaths for this stupidity. The relationship will never end with Nike and Jeff Boss. Boss Shark and LSU are history - STFU forever.

LSU is not leaving Nike. The only change possible would be if they went with Jordan, but that’s still the same apparel. They’ll probably get a boost to about $8.5m a year.

Your politics aside, Nike is the best outfitter for uniforms across the board. Based off reading the South Carolina contract, Nike is going to outfit about 15 of its Tier 1 schools in an alternate in the next two years to showcase a new uniform template. I’d assume LSU will be in that number and fans will be screaming at the sky.

Tennessee just got $10 million per year plus extra NIL incentives from Adidas. Do you really think Marucci can match or exceed that?

Do you think marucci could give LSU the money and product that Nike does?

The answer is not even fricking close.

I don’t see why any major school would wear Nike.
You are helping fund Oregon’s NIL to take top prospects away
