probably not, it is always the same stuff. Same paying crowd that ask stupid questions. If it wasn't for big money donors these shows wouldn't exist anymore.

People make too much of this IMO. Most of the time I would defer and kickoff but there are times to take the ball.

It’s actually a really big deal…
Deferring and receiving the second half yields on average a 1 pt advantage on the scoreboard and also a 12% chance of a stolen possession - meaning scoring at end of half and scoring again at the start of the second half.
Teams that defer win 55% of the time and teams that receive win 52% of the time.
The team deferring also gets to see how the flow of the game is going while knowing they get a possession to start the second half. This allows them to play the first half differently.
TLDR: DEFER TO SECOND HALF BK

I could see him wanting the ball first back when the defense was total trash and Jayden was instant offense to get some early momentum. But the defense should be much improved. So agreed, hope he defers.

I think that’s literally the only scenario. When the offense is elite, defense is trash, and scouting has revealed a weakness on the other team’s defense where you know you can score opening drive.

That is not much of a difference and is probably attributable to many things other than who got the ball first.
