It might not be the best fast-food breakfast I’ve ever had, but for the price and convenience, it definitely exceeded my expectations. I feel like Burger King breakfast doesn’t get nearly as much love as it should. Has anyone else been sleeping on it, or did I just get lucky with a good location today?

Their Eggnormous burrito is very good, but it's fricking huge. Way too much to try and eat for just a quick breakfast.

According to google they use whole eggs in a “liquid egg-pasteurized mixture”. Have you tried them? I had no idea they weren’t just regular old eggs until reading your post. And I tear up a BEC croissant once a week!

Yea I tore up my share of Croissanwiches back in the day. But over the years I decided the mystery egg mixtures didn't jive with my innards. I seek out fast food places that crack real eggs. Wendy's, McDonalds (round eggs), Whataburger are my go to places.

When I used to commute, about halfway to work, there was a Burger King, Hardees, and McDonalds all right next to each other, and they had breakfast price wars. Whichever one had the better deal on the marquee, got my business. They were all solid. Pre-covid. I'm sure they've all gone to shite now like most other places.

The one that opened right by the house a few years ago was SO SLOW. Like 20 minutes to get breakfast, and I wasn't the only one in the store waiting- it was ridiculous. I haven't been back since then.

It was good, but not worth the wait.

Back when I was enormous I’d destroy croissanwiches (ordered with no egg), but their breakfast burrito jrs (ordered with no egg) were my jam. The eggnormous with no egg is amazing. If you eat 2 of them you feel like you’ve been hit with a tranq dart and you can’t process feelings or feel your emotions anymore. In some ways it’s better than drugs.

A freshly made sausage McMuffin is goat

Wendy’s breakfast potatoes are great as well with their chicken maple butter biscuits. Their sausage has a spice to it as well.

Some days I miss being a fat arse that ate all this shite every day. It’s easier to run from depression than it is to confront it.

All the McDonalds eggs were cracked fresh when I worked there. 82-88. Don’t know how it is now. Biscuits were pre-baked like the buns, then frozen dough pucks that were baked in store, then finally making dough in store and baking. No idea on the current situation.

I like the croissantwichs they are pretty good. But it never fails to makes me feel like crap the rest of the day so I haven’t eaten them in years.

Everything at Burger King can be good, it’s just that the majority of their locations consistently fail miserably at execution.

Eggs
Bacon
Flour
Yeast
and 1,000 other multi-syllable ingredients that are much worse for you than driving through Lake Charles.
