Need advice. Just got a package from Amazon I didn't order.

Had 8 boxes of some type of organic fruit juices for kids. Box had my name and address on it.
Looked on Amazon, no such order in my account. Didn't get a delivered notification in email as is always the case.
So send it back? Throw it away? What to do, what to do

This is a common occurrence... chuck it.

If you received an Amazon package with your name on it that you didn't order, it's likely a "brushing" scam.
Report the package to Amazon and consider changing your Amazon password and monitoring your credit card statements.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
1. "Brushing" Scam: This is a common scam where third-party sellers send packages to random addresses (sometimes using publicly available information like yours) to boost their sales rankings and reviews.
2. Report the package: Amazon has a dedicated page for reporting unwanted packages. You can also contact Amazon customer service to report it.

You will be a verified purchaser and 5 star reviewer of said product whether you like it or not.

Keep it or Chuck it.
Same thing happened to me. 4-5 Hilti(sp?) saw blades for a cement/wet saw. Tried to return or get a reply. Got nowhere. Craigslist they went?
Still have 2 if anyone is interested. Lol

Did someone else who has sent Amazon orders to your home ship it there by accident? I have about a dozen different addresses in Amazon that I have sent things to. Nephews for their birthdays, both sets of parents, other various folks. Occasionally, I'll catch Amazon defaulting to one of those addresses instead of mine. Weird, but that'd be my guess.

You take that box full of organic fruit juices for kids on a plane with you to Jeff Bezos’ house and you yell, “Jeffrey, come get your shite!”

Send it to RFK for verification

Is it a brand you recognize, maybe something you know and like that someone sent you as a gift? Or is from CHYNA?

You'll just get an Indian guy in a call center who will be of no help.

There's drugs in it, the cartel is pushing drugs through Amazon packages. You'll probably be killed in a few hours.

That's a rough way to discover your wife has been hiding a secret husband and kids.

This is happening with USPS packages as well, especially the ones in small white packaging (China originated) but will often have a return address in California, New Jersey, Illinois or Texas.
They sometimes will have a QR code in the package wanting you to swipe. I recommend that you don’t.
Also seeing several Priority Mail envelopes with a click & ship or pc generated label barely taped to envelope. Enclosed will be a check they want you to cash. I also recommend that you don’t deposit the check.
