Two couples' row sitting order

Scenario:
You, your spouse, and another couple are attending a concert/ music festival, etc. in a setting where casual conversation during the show is acceptable, not like in a movie theater.
What order do the four of you sit in the row?
1. Husband 1, Wife 1, Wife 2, Husband 2
2. Husband 1, Husband 2, Wife 2, Wife 1
3. Husband 1, Wife 1, Husband 2, Wife 2
4. Wife 1, Husband 1, Husband 2, Wife 2
5. Husband 1, Husband 2, Wife 1, Wife 2
6. Some other combination
When the Wife and I go to events with some couple friends, we tend to sit in order #2. Where the Wife and I are on the ends.

If it a sporting event, it is usually #2, otherwise I have never paid much attention to it.

I have a problem with odiferous flatulence, so, I like to sit next to the other husband in order to establish my dominance. I also take control of the arm rest. I whisper to him, "surrender the arm rest or I'm having another chili garlic hotdog with a dark beer."

Number two. Started sitting the women together years ago, they’re just going to yap to each other anyway, but if they’re split up they just end up making sure the men can’t talk.
