Ice Cube's War of the Worlds at 0% on RT, being called 1 of the worst ever made

Has anyone taken one for the team yet and watched this steaming pile? Is it really THAT bad?

I saw a lot of bad horrible movies this year. The new Crow, the new Omen both Shamalan movies.
But all those movies I made it through. I only lasted 30 minutes in WotW and I wouldn't try to finish. It was not just bad. It was bad in every sense. The acting. The choices, the effects, the scenes the plot. The best part of the entrire movie is the first ten minutes. With Ice Cube using his NSA computers to spy on his kids.
It went downhill from there fast. Also Eva Longoria as the Nasa liason /director was a really bad choice.

I saw almost every horror movie that came out in theaters this year. It was my least favorite movie in the genre this year. I really didn't like it and it didn't do well nor was it well reviewed. I even liked the movie where everyone who saw the full moon turned into werewolves more.

Doesn't that put him in two of such ratings? If I remember correctly, when Anaconda was released it was destroyed as one of the worst movies ever made.

Just rewatched the trailer.
Looks like most of the movie is going to be him viewing whats going on through cell phone videos across the world? If so, that's going to be annoying as frick

That's a lot of it. He watches things happen on his NSA computer. He runs the progran that spies on citizens basically.

Its the streaming effect. These movies used to be direct-to-dvd. Now, services like Amazon and Netflix pitch these SyFy caliber movies as blockbusters.

I never made it past the trailer. Now, it was made during Covid with Covid protocols meaning the crew and actors were not in proximity of each other. That being said and all things considered, it probably should never have been made. It’s just awful.

My wife actually watched it... said that there were parts that, as an IT person, would make my eye twitch.

Watching it now. It’s God-awful, but I’m no quitter. 10/10 do not recommend.
