Not a fan of K Pop. To be clear. But damn if this movie isn't flat out amazing. Not just for the 'Let it go' level soundtrack, but the blend of Korean culture with fantastic animation.
What's really gotten my attention with this movie is the attention others are giving it. From Korean history and language/vocal teachers , K Pop, cosplayers, artists and all sorts of fans across the internet. It's generated a firestorm of praise that Hollywood would pay a fortune for, and it's all happened organically.
While we're fed a steady stream of The Message, subverted expectations and directors giddily saying they'll 'wreck your mythos in a minute, baby!', the folks @ Sony & Netflix have shown the world what real effort and respect in one's work can produce.
It's nice to see more of that.

Your response is the most perfect usage of that .gif - a genuine chuckle.

My 7 year old daughter put this on a few weeks ago, and I didn't know what it was. I haven't sat down and watched the whole thing but Ive certainly caught it all in the 15+ times she's watched it since. But damn if it is beautifully animated and the soundtrack is certainly catchy (she's been belting it at the top of her lungs every morning).
Definitely seems like Sony has been knocking them out of the park lately. This, Mitchell's vs the Machines, and the Spiderverse movies are as good as anything animated that's come out the last decade from any studio.

My kids all love it
Songs are infectious. Story is good for a cartoon.
You’re my soda pop.

My 8 yo daughter is obsessed with this movie. My guess is she has watched it 10x already. The soundtrack is very catchy.

Interesting thing about this song, the vocals on it are fantastic . Metal vocalists to operatic singers have done reviews on the range.
They went a long way to make it as authentic as possible for the movie.

My kids haven’t stopped listening to the damn soundtrack for weeks.
I walk around with those damn songs in my head.

And there it is. Unsolicited drops into pop culture in places you'd least expect it. The freaking weather.

My daughter loves this movie, and it annoys the crap out of me. I swear if I hear "I'm a soda pop pop" one more time I'm going to fiercely rage on the inside just as I did the last time I heard it because I'm not going to act out and crush my daughter's dreams when she's watching a movie that is not trying to indoctrinate her into the Pink Mafia.
I'm good with this one

Every song in it is an absolute banger. I’m not sure who likes it more me or my 5 y.o.

My girls are watching the crap out of this movie and the songs are too good.

Just watched this. I thought it was okay. My daughters thought it was one of the best movies they've ever seen.
It was at least good clean fun, and the music is enjoyable. Animation is good too.
