List will obviously not be as strong as the Nola list, but there’s still some good options.
1. Deli special from Anthony’s
2. Pork belly hoagie from city pork
3. Reuben at Iverstine
What else you got?

I can't say whether or not it's the "best" but I had a really good sandwich at Martin's Wine Cellar a while back.

Martin’s Wine Cellar Club Sandwich is my vote.

Their Reuben is also fantastic.

Canatella Grocery on government. Good Meatball sandwich, porchetta on chibata, a muffuletta sandwich. All very good.

Lot of good ones listed, so to avoid repeating: I had a very good Chicken Karaage sandwich at BLDG5 today for lunch.

Also, Rally Cap has a very, very good mortadella sandwich. Though it's hit or miss on the menu, for some reason.

You should be, it's not very good. Go to Cannatella's for the best one in the city. Also don't sleep on the meatball and eggplant poboy at Digiulio's.

Totally agree.

I'm such a sucker for grilled shrimp on this type of sandwich. I actually add their house made pepper jelly to it when I order it.

Adding a couple I don't think I saw

Mulberry Market makes good sandwiches - I had a Norwegian salmon a couple of weeks ago and an Italian before that.

MJ's Cafe - Hippie Garden Sandwich

Rocca - Italian Hero
