I guess this is the new thing. I don’t get it but maybe I’m just old.

I carried an LL Bean from my junior year in high school until I graduated college 11 years later. They are tanks.

And my mom took full advantage of the lifetime warranty. I swear she sent them back and got a new one every year.

My grandson asked for and got a camo backpack. I think it was a Burlebo.

What do they need a backpack for at all? My poor daughter has one that weighs about 350 pounds....I think she is smuggling concrete blocks into the contractor building the addition at her high school. Every summer I clean it out and take it to goodwill and all that is in it is wadded up paper and maybe 3-4 packs of peanut butter crackers. She is an honor roll student (not exactly a high bar in a public school but still) so it ain't like she ain't at least meeting the schools expectations. She may be getting extra credit for working as block masons apprentice for all I know...whatever it is when she gets out of the truck in the morning that damned backpack sounds like it weighs a ton as she drags it out of the floor....

I sure as hell did. I sent both of my daughters back every year. 4th grade til 12th grade. I even had the letter and address label saved on my computer. Update and print every summer.

Don't sell me something with a lifetime warranty as a selling point, I will not hesitate to use it.
