Mommy With Kids in Car Goes Full Karen Mode When Officer Writes a Ticket, Ends in Disaster

I guess my definition of disaster and the person posting the video are quite different. Nobody was seriously injured or died. I’m glad for her soon to be ex-husband they have her behavior on record.

This guy I feel sorry for. The husband wasn’t surprised at all.
The woman acted like an entitled brat. The deputy handled the situation well for the most part but dragging her out the car roughly for the pen toss seemed excessive. Also, pretty stupid to call this a felony assault. There should be some misdemeanor being a jerk ticket instead.
She is not a bad looking woman - especially for having three kids. The deputy kind of starts searching her after the arrest but then stops because I think he’s aware it’s a bad look on a decent looking woman not wearing a lot of layers. The best part was the deputy saying he would take the cuffs off is she promised not to get “erotic” (he meant erratic but it was a fruedian slip).

She’s definitely a Karen but that cop was definitely also power tripping.
Also, is it a common thing for demanding you declare that you will contest the ticket or simply pay the fine at the stop? That’s always the option but demanding you commit to one of the two and sign to it on the spot is new to me.
Never heard of being required to admit guilt and document such on the side of the road.

The dude was getting pissy when she offered her hand for the ticket because he expected the peasant needs to come to HIM, not the other way around.
At every fricking stage he escalated the situation. She has accountability for joining him on the road, but he doesn’t get credit for “handling it well.”

The officer could have handled it better...but she 100 percent needed to be arrested. You can't throw stuff at officers.
The husband saying "I'll take the kids and she can be on her merry way (to jail)" just shows she has a history of being an absolute count and he is fed up with it.
She won't get a felony when it's all said and done.. but she will get a reality check in jail for a bit.

Couple of things:
1) This chick was having a bad day and was ready for a fight.
2) Did I hear the cop at the beginning say she was in a classic speed trap? He said there was a 55 and 40mph speed limit sign pretty close together. That can't be a school zone because I can't believe a school zone would be 40mph.
3) The cop whining about "that's assault" was pretty terrible. We get it, this chick is being an a-hole, but hearing a grown man yell, "you just hit me with a pen and that is assault" is pretty hilarious.
4) My guilty pleasure is watching arrent videos and this one delivered.

That woman is one of the worst I've ever seen. WTF is wrong with her? She has an attitude and is sarcastic the entire time.

Right, but what do expect when you throw a pen or anything at a cop? You should expect that to happen. It's asking for it.

Obvious speed trap. The one time I was caught in one, I did as instructed, got my ticket, went on my way. Later, got it reduced to a non-moving violation.
