Here is what the documents show.

The official story is that the fbi opened its investigation into the trump campaign in July 2016 after George Papadapolous, a trump advisor, told an Aussie diplomat at a dinner that he heard a rumor that Russia had dirt on hillary. The Aussie govt relayed that info to the fbi.


What the documents to be released reveal, however, is that *Papadapolous was told of that rumor as an unwitting player in a British surveillance operation against trump campaign associates*

George P was living in London when he started working on the djt campaign in Feb 2016.

In March 2016, a “professor” named Joseph Mifsud made contact with George P, and invited him to Link university in Rome. He told George that he would be able to organize a policy meeting/summit between Donald trump and the Russian govt. Fair enough, there isn’t anything out of the ordinary between a major campaign meeting with foreign officials at policy summits.

Here is where it gets weird. In April 2016, George P had a scheduled dinner with Mr. Mifsud. Mr. Mifsud walks into the restaurant with a woman he falsely claims is Putin’s niece. Mr. Mifsud claims this niece could get the campaign even more meetings with Russia, etc.

A few days after that dinner, Mr. Mifsud tells George that he learned that Russia had Hillary’s emails. George was spooked by the conversation and started to think this professor Mifsud is a rotten figure. He ends his relationship with Mifsud shortly after.

Months later, while having dinner with Aussie officials, the subject of the election came up and George P said in passing that he heard a rumor that Russia had her emails. The aussies were alarmed by this and sent a memo to the fbi.

What the documents that are supposedly set to be declassified show, however, is that professor Mifsud was actually an MI6 operative tasked with probing connections between trump officials and Russia.

It was never the intention of the Brits to accidentally trigger the FBI probe.

Neither the Aussies nor the FBI had any idea that the information George talked about with the Aussies was actually connected to a Uk operation.


In other words, the “tip” that the Aussies gave to the fbi actually originated from a UK operation.
