Does anyone have any tips for how to effectively kill or at least suppress Dallisgrass in St. Augustine (without spot treating with round up or pulling each one up)?

This weed is a B*itch

That’s Virginia Buttonweed.
Hard to kill. I use WeedFreeZone and it usually knocks it back.

There is none. Cut your grass on the highest setting. Your grass will suppress the weeds .
Good luck trying to eliminate them.

Will it? Because everything I have read says the opposite.

So I read the label on this and it specifically says that when targeting Dallisgrass, mix with Revolver and something else...both of which are not safe for St Aug

Depends on grass type.
For St. Aug, use the highest setting
For bermuda, use the lowest setting for weed supression.

Centipede, Zoysia, probably somewhere in the middle.

That's not St. Augustine grass. Looks more Bermuda. Use a mixture of Celsius and Cetainty with a sufactant. Will probably need at least 2 applications over a few weeks.

Or just spot spray. Yeah, you'll kill a little of your lawn, but it will come back.

Short of MSMA, this is the way. I use a small foam brush. It all depends on how big the infestation is. Mine was too much to dig but not enough to kill and resod.

I tried this once and the lawn (centipede at the time) did not comeback. Instead a bunch of other weeds filled that void.

they make a gel that I have used with a glove with some pretty good results. I always wondered if you could wear a rubber glove under a garden glove soaked with Glyphosate.
