Restaurant with the best fried chicken?

Granted, I haven’t been far and wide to visit a bunch of the usual suspects, but the best I’ve ever had is the fried chicken at Bea’s Restaurant in Chattanooga. I am convinced that at some point many years ago Truett Cathy ate there and developed the Chick-Fil-A flavor profile based on what he had at Bea’s. My only complaint is that you can only get white meat. It’s all pulley bone pieces.

Outside of fast food with Popeyes and we have Frenchy's in Houston I would say close to me would be Mia's Table. They do half a fried chicken that's pretty solid. I remember going to The Dinner Bell in MS when I was a kid and that was really good but its a very distant memory so not sure how reliable.
At the end of the day though, nobody fries chicken like mama.
Thats all I got.

Pannie George's in Auburn (and now in Montgomery) makes pretty fine fried chicken, especially with their homemade hot sauce.
Matthew's Cafeteria in Tucker, GA, does a good job too.

For birmingham, couple of contenders. Gus's Fried Chicken is amazing, but its a Nashville based chain. Same with Hattie B's. So, i'll exclude those from my list for the Birmingham based ones, since those can be gotten elsewhere.
Fried Chicken - Johnny's, Yo Mama, Green Acre, or Little Donkey (surprisingly)
Hot Chicken - Eugene's
Chicken Sandwich - Saw's

Sid Mar's used to be excellent, with warm bordelaise on the side.

Piccadilly used to have great fried chicken, but haven't been to one in over 10 years. Are they still around?

If anyone happens to be near Mt. Hermon in Washington Parish stop by Brook’s. The fried chicken reminds me of the old school Danny’s fried chicken.

Gus's in Mason, TN. The first time I had it, it was a near-religious experience.
Runner-up would be Uncle Lou's in Memphis.
