Anyone else starting to drink the kool aid for this team?

Surely it’s not too obvious right. We’ve all been burned before here. I’m just really liking what we have going for us in 2025.
No need to list it all but are the stars finally aligning for BK? Will he finally check that one last box on his HOF resume? LSU is going on a run in 25. Whether that ends with a title or not is TBD but I’ll be dammed if they aren’t a problem in the SEC.
They’ll at the very least be a team having teams thinking “glad we don’t have them on the schedule”. Too many weapons. Too much talent. Too much investment from the staff to the roster. It’s all there.
I’ll leave it with this. Those revenge games at home vs A&M and Florida will be peak tiger stadium atmospheres. One of those two games will be a blow out in favor of the Tigers

It all depends on the defense, imo

Offensive line is the key....the D will be much better.

if we beat Clemson to start..... I'll be pretty damn excited.

We need to stay healthy. If Nuss gets hurt, who is the backup? You need luck to win an SEC title and/or be in the BCS. No major injuries and I think 10-2 will get us in.

That and the defensive backfield.
Got to be able to defend the pass in the SEC.

Yes I am drinking full kool aid. Mostly because our DBs sucked last 2 years, and we got 3 transfer DBs that put up 18 turnovers last year JUST BTWN THE 3 last year. Add in DJ Pickett who is next Stingley. Add in healthy Dominick McKinley who had 4 sacks in 3 games last year but got injured. Add in healthy Perkins that will blitz more because he won't have to drop back bc we had shitty DBs. Add in that we have 1st round mock draft Patrick Payton.
Add in that Chris Hilton is healthy, and in his 2 healthy games last year, last 2 games, had 200+ yards and 3 TDs, and had 3 or 4 deep passes where he was 10-15 yards past the CB when he caught the ball absolutely burning them. Add in AA who was good last year. Add in Nic Brown who only has played 1 season, but averaged 20.0 yards per catch at 6'4 230 lb 4.4 40, and 800 yards and 10 TDs. Add in Trey Dez being utliized more in the red zone for sure TDs with his height and reach. Add in Caden Durham in 2nd year.
I just don't see how we can't go at least 10-2 and make CFP.

I started sipping after we landed Haulcy and been getting more confident as the days pass. I think the D is going to be really good and is being overlooked because computers and national media don’t take into account transfers. I think every D transfer we got is legit.
The D is going to be good enough to win any game and it all comes down to how much Nuss progressed. If he has taken a couple steps forward this team is going to be stupid good.
BK and staff bought some of the best transfer players this year because they know it’s a championship opportunity year. Very much like Ole Miss and Ohio State last year. Hopefully it goes more like Ohio state though.

I always thought it was like Ohio State. I’m of the opinion that in 2025 and on if you are a program that hasn’t won a title up to this point, you never will.
Guys like ole miss and a&m will never get it done. No matter how much money they throw at it.

Players seem to be bought in and confident. Very 2019.

I always say the ‘I am not’ but when the season gets closer, ‘what the heck’…

I'll start taking tiny sips if Kelly can demonstrate he can get a team ready for a season opener.
Even if we lose to Clemson, if it looks like this team was prepared and competitive, then I might start to believe.
So far, LSU has looked like the least prepared and motivated in all of Kelly's season openers. That has to change.

No
Has anyone forgotten the arse raping Carolina did to our defense?
Until we play defense we are "LSU 8-4"
