Absolutely. If he got drafted he has already agreed. Do you people not know how the MLB draft works these days? If a player gets drafted in the top 10 rounds, they are signing.

Which was weird because the athleticism was apparent. Scouts drafts on projectability but can’t project him as a LF?

As much as I am sad we won’t be getting Frey back next year this is a perfect example for CJJ to show recruits and current players of how to be patient and trust the program and you can go from hoping to make a lineup to a top 100 pick

frick no. if he was to ask what we could pay if he were to come back we may offer 300 -500 these guys aren't getting what football players get. we supposedly paid Jones 500k to come back and he was by far our highest paid player.

A certain media figure in Baton Rouge who seems to have about 30 different podcasts also kept repeating this false narrative.
It drove me up a wall every time I heard it.
