If you knew how to act, it might be a safe place to go. Cuba is a cool place to visit if you know how to do it.

ETA: Then again, you could get Hobie Yamad coming up to you and announcing, in a thick accent, "no Yankee jingoist imperialist zionist jackal has business here ..."

If Afghanistan really wants to market to American tourists, they should advertise all of the leftover American weaponry that we could come shoot and blow up. I’m sure there’s a few baws out there itching to drive an Abrams or launch a javelin at a burnt out car. I know I would, Islamic fanaticism aside.

I bet there are some killer potential ski slopes out there.

Always looked like a beautiful country, but while I am usually down for some weird, off-the-wall shite, traipsing in to Afghanistan might be a bit too much for me to try.

Frankly, it's a beautiful place. But yeah, I'll pass.

Come to sunny Afghanistan and walk minefields, dodge bullets and maybe even lose your head.
