Why can't other shows be run this efficiently? They are a machine.

Season 5 releases in Sept. Based on London Rules.

Season 6 wrapped up. Based on Joe Country and Slough House

Season 7 announced. Based on Bad Actors.

This show earns and deserves so much goodwill from the fans for its output

It’s the outlier when it comes to prestige tv shows and their schedule

I will gladly watch and support this show .

I've tried watching this show, but haven't been able to get past the first season. Keep getting distracted for some reason, I guess because its kind of slow. Usually not that big of an issue for me. I have enjoyed what I've seen. Need to power through.

Same thing happened to me but I powered through it. Really enjoy the show.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen the first seasons but felt that season 4 had more action than the rest.

No pun intended, but I found this show to be really slow. Does it ever pick up in the first few episodes?

Not really. You're getting a lot of setup, but if you'll stick around I promise you'll be rewarded.

I think it is worth getting past the groundwork. It isn't an action show even though there is some action. Mainly about political intrigue and infighting within the gov with a little mystery thrown in.

It has a great cast and character development. Gary Oldman rightfully gets accolades, but the rest of the cast is strong also.

It probably helps that Slow Horses is based on a series of books, so they already have all the source material, and it takes place in present day, under relatively normal circumstances, so they don't need unusual sets or anything like that.

Having read the books I was disappointed when I found out he was cast as Lamb. Lamb's described as physically imposing, tall and fat, so Oldman seemed like a poor choice, but he's really killed it and done a fantastic job.

It blows my mind that Jean-Baptiste Emmanuel Zorg and Jackson Lamb are the same guy.

And the books are written like a screen play. A lot of the dialogue and scenes are just straight lifted for the show, they're not doing some clunky adaption or worse, interpretation.
