Does anybody give a shite about

the AKC anymore?

What about the Chamber of Commerce?

Or the Better Business Bureau?

And what about the NRA?

Our local group of hells angles isnt powerful anymore. They even let a woman join a few years ago. Once that happened they became a laughing stock around here!

A great deal of their influence has gone away because they’ve basically won on everything in many/most states except for increasingly niche issue areas.

I’m not opining on anything and please don’t turn this into a political debate on any side; I’m just observing a reality.

Burger King. Used to be neck and neck or even ahead of McDonald's and is now a bottom tier fast food chain.

I called them back in the day, and my 11 year old brain thought the line they used on me, "We're just trying to label CDs, not ban them," worked. My, how much more militant them and all other groups of their ilk have made me.
