Tires cost so damn much these days

With people buying more awd have to replace in pairs… run flats x2 was $1k. Jesus Christ life is just unaffordable for the middle class.

I spend a frick pile on tires. My wife’s X5M gets about 15k to 20k on a set and there probably $2500 a set and my Tesla is 2k a set and I get about 30k on them. 37’s for my 250 are about $2200 to $2500 now for a set if I had to guess.

Where are you people getting tires?
I can get a new set Michelins for my truck at Sams and Costco for about $1400 installed.

My 37x20 Toyo RT tires are $550 per tire at discount. Throw in tax, mounting, balance and your aorund $2500.

took run flats off of wife's BMW because of ride and cost. now have slime air pump in back storage for security.might bite me but not worth cost of tires and regular tires ride so much better.
